The art of taking and using an expert’s deposition has often flummoxed even the most experienced practitioner. This two-hour lunchtime seminar will cover the dos and don’ts of expert depositions and how to effectively present testimony at trial. A sitting Santa Clara County Superior Court judge will offer his perspective on the effective use of expert testimony at trial and tips on what to avoid at trial. Attendees will be practice these skills in a workshop setting based upon short hypotheticals.
